House Clearance Wirral
House clearance on the Wirral, priced by the van load from £150, with a fixed price once we’ve seen the job and no travel charge. Licensed, insured, and a waste transfer note every time.
- Licensed waste carrier
- Fully insured
- No travel charge
- Pay after the job
We clear houses, flats, lofts, garages and sheds across the Wirral, from Birkenhead and Wallasey to Heswall, West Kirby and Neston. The person who comes is a licensed waste carrier and will show you their licence if you ask. We carry everything out, load the van and leave the place tidy. You pay for the space your things take up in the van, not by the hour.
Pick the size that fits
Final price is fixed once we’ve seen your photos or visited. No travel charge.
How much does house clearance cost on the Wirral?
We price by how much room your things take up in our Luton van, starting from a quarter van at £150. Pick the size that looks closest and we’ll confirm a fixed price once we’ve seen the job.
| Load | Good for | Roughly | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| ¼ van | A small clear-out | 20 bin bags | £150 |
| ½ van | A room or a garden | 40 bin bags | £250 |
| ¾ van | A larger clearance | 60 bin bags | £350 |
| Full van | A whole house or office | Full load | £400 |
These are guide prices, and there is no travel charge anywhere we cover. The final price is fixed after a free viewing, a video call or photos, because stairs, parking and the walk to the van can change a job. More than a van? We’ll quote after seeing it. Fridges, freezers, mattresses and sofas carry a disposal fee, because they need special disposal. You pay after the job, by card, cash or bank transfer, and the price is the same whichever you choose. Prices last checked: 8 November 2026.
Only one or two big items? Wirral Council’s large item collection was £45 a visit for up to six items when we checked in November 2026.

What we can’t take
We can lift heavy things like pianos and commercial safes. For safety and legal reasons we can’t take:
- Hazardous and chemical waste: asbestos, paint, solvents, gas cylinders, petrol, diesel, oil and car batteries
- Heavy building waste: soil, turf, bricks, rubble, concrete, stone and gravel, because of the van’s weight limit
- Biohazards: medical waste, items infested with bed bugs or rodents, and soiled animal litter
Not sure about something? Send us a photo on WhatsApp and we’ll tell you.
What happens to your things
Good furniture shouldn’t end up in the tip. Anything still in good condition is offered free locally or donated to charity shops on the Wirral. Everything else goes to licensed facilities and is recycled wherever we can.

Licensed, insured and legal
Anyone who takes away household waste for payment must be a registered waste carrier, and you have a legal duty to check who you hand your waste to. The person who comes to clear your home is a registered waste carrier and fully insured, and every clearance comes with a waste transfer note.
Licensed waste carrier
Registered with the Environment Agency. Ask to see their licence, and check the number on the public register.
Insured
Public liability cover for your property while we work.
Proof of legal disposal
A waste transfer note with every clearance.

House clearance questions
How much does house clearance cost on the Wirral?
Our prices start at £150 for a quarter van and go up to £400 for a full van: £250 for a half and £350 for three quarters. We confirm the final fixed price after a free viewing, video call or photos.
Do you give free quotes?
Yes. A viewing is free and is the most accurate way to price a job. If you’d rather not wait, send photos on WhatsApp or walk us round on a video call.
Is there a travel or call-out charge?
No. The price covers the clearance, and there is no extra charge for travel anywhere we cover.
Are you a licensed waste carrier?
Yes. The person who comes is a registered waste carrier and will show you their licence if you ask, and you get a waste transfer note for every clearance.
Can I just take it to the tip myself?
You can. A normal car doesn’t need an appointment, but vans and trailers between 2 and 3 metres do, and residents with a van of any size or a large trailer are limited to 12 visits a year. You book through the Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority. For a whole house, many people find one clearance easier than a dozen trips. See the council’s recycling centre page.
What if I only have a few items?
Our clearances start from a quarter van at £150. For one or two big items, try the council’s large item collection, which was £45 a visit for up to six items when we checked in November 2026. You list every item when you book.
What can’t you take?
Hazardous and chemical waste, heavy building waste such as soil and rubble, and biohazards. The full list is further up this page.
What happens to my things?
Good items are offered free locally or donated to charity shops. The rest goes to licensed facilities and is recycled wherever possible.
Do you clear flats and upstairs rooms?
Yes. We carry from any floor. Tell us about stairs, lifts and parking when you book, because they can change the price.
How do I pay?
After the job, by card, cash or bank transfer. The price is the same whichever you choose.
How soon can you come?
Message us on WhatsApp and we’ll give you the next free day. We work Monday to Saturday.
